There are multiple ways for you to lend your helping hand!
As a 100% volunteer run organization, we have no paid employees. We aim to keep administrative and overhead costs to a minimum (~1%), and have been lucky enough to have donors/sponsors cover many of those costs.
Sahaita encourages all donors to visit our project sites in India. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to coordinate.
Sahaita does not facilitate adoptions and has no visibility into adoption processes. However, Bal Ghar (an orphanage in Ludhiana that Sahaita supports) is a CARA-approved adoption agency through the Swami Ganga Nand Bhuriwale International Foundation. Please direct all Bal Ghar adoption related inquiries to Kuldip S. Mann of Bal Ghar.
Sahaita’s legal charter only allows for projects related to health and education. Our ad-hoc humanitarian relief projects are pursued from a health and/or education perspective. Please email email@example.com with details of the person/people who need help and we will see if it aligns.
