Cold crisp nights and peanuts by the bonfire, a perfect way to celebrate new life & new blissful unions. Lohri, Lohri, Lohri! Since 2017, Sahaita has celebrated Lohri by helping over 200 low- or no-income families with baby essentials for the 1st year of life.

- IN-KIND DONATIONS: new/gently-used baby clothing (0-12M) & other essentials listed (gender-neutral is best!)
- FUND A BABY BOX: Depending on the volume of in-kind donations, 1 box could be valued up to $200 (sometimes even more!). Fund a single box or donate to the project as a whole.
- VOLUNTEER: Join us for a day of sorting & packing (end of February)
The more clothing that we can collect and/or purchase, the more families we can impact. These baby boxes are in high demand from local social service agencies as many BayArea families continue to struggle to make ends meet. Let’s bring some warmth to these newborns & comfort to their parent(s), after all – we are all one!
